Workshop Manager / Engineer - Essex - £40,000 + Accommodation
The JobWe are looking for a skilled and reliable Workshop Manager / Engineer to join a busy and well-established agricultural business in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern machinery in a supportive and dynamic environment, whereby you will be involved with driving farm machinery in the summer season and not be stuck doing paperwork!
Responsibilities- Operating combine harvesters and other agricultural machinery safely and efficiently
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Assisting with harvesting operations and machinery logistics
- Supporting the engineering team with repairs and preventative maintenance
- A strong mechanical aptitude and experience with machinery repairs
- A full UK driving licence (Class C/E preferable)
- Proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
- Competitive salary, circa £40,000
- Accommodation provided at a subsidised rate (only £250/month; with market value at £750-£1000)
