Job Description
To carry out maintenance and repairs to equipment within the Workshop in East Kilbride, maintaining documentation of all works carried out in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures.# We offer: To prepare FLT's to the standard required for STR rental and USED sales, with all that this entails, and order the necessary spare parts as efficiently as possible To adhere to all company H&S and Environmental and site policies, procedures and practices and ensure we operate in an environmentally safe workplace. Ensure K1SS and all paperwork/IT systems are completed accurately and within the stipulated time period and with the relevant order numbers Liaise with the first line of management for authorisation of parts and process order numbers accordingly Work under own initiative without constant supervision To ensure all allocated work is adhered to and to notify Manager if in arrears Ensure that the specified Engineering Standards and Safe Working Practices and all Company Policies and Procedures are followed at all times. To ensure that all stock levels/movement records are accurate and correct Ensure all company issued equipment is kept in a satisfactory condition and report any failures To take on any reasonable additional duties as required by the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Workshop Any other duties which arise as a result of duties as aboveThis list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be exhaustive but is to be used as a guideline for the job in questionThere is a need for a flexible approach to this job in order for the company to achieve its objectivesHEALTH & SAFETY The responsibility for employees' health and safety does not rest entirely with the Company and its management.
