Tasks and Qualifications:

Linde Workshop Engineers are responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of material handling equipment, including forklifts and heavy machinery. Your tasks will include routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs to ensure safety and optimal performance.

The role involves servicing Linde forklifts and other equipment, building strong customer relationships, and delivering exceptional support. You will work with various products, from electric pallet trucks to large engine-powered trucks, performing inspections, diagnosing faults, and preventive maintenance.

Ideal candidates will have experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, especially those who have worked with forklifts, plant fitters, or similar machinery. Experience with plant equipment, agricultural machinery, or industrial cleaners is desirable but not essential.

  • NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification preferred but not mandatory
  • Comfortable using IT for record-keeping and ordering
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
