We are currently looking tohire an experienced Works Supervisor to join ourInfrastructure team based in Sellafield on a 15 yearframework.

The Works Supervisorrole

A member of the projectteam reporting to the Works Manager, you will be responsible fororganisation and coordination of works operations and procedures,to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency and safety inboth the pre-construction and construction phases of theproject. As a works Supervisor at Sellafield, you will require aproven track record in Steel-fixing from your tradeback-ground.

The role will requireeffective communication with all present within the project team toensure full responsibility to achieving all aspects of BuildSure.

  • Manage anddirect the construction-based logistics, plan for materials orders,sub-contractor and plant availability.
  • Ensurecompliance with statutory and company procedures, across allfunctions including quality, health and safety andenvironmental.
  • A goodunderstanding in managing the delivery of steel fixing operationsinclusive of reading of bar schedules, drawings and coupleruse.
  • An abilityto manage complex logistical site conditions and trade interfacesworking with Joiners, fixers and scaffolders to deliver RC worksthrough substructure to superstructure.

Yourprofile:

  • Extensivework experience within the ConstructionIndustry.
  • Experiencein managing many stakeholders within alive environment.
  • Provenworking experience of supervising on siteworks.
  • Goodknowledge of building products, construction details, relevantrules and regulations and quality standards
  • A goodunderstanding of all facets of the constructionprocess
  • Assist thePackage Engineers to the applicable procedures and approved MethodStatements, Risk Assessments, Inspection & Test Plans andexperience in FV and the quality processes.
