Wood Machinery Trainer

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability Sectors.Job Title: Wood Machinery TrainerLocation: Field based - delivering training across the Midlands and South East of England (Flexibility required - overnight stays provided when needed)Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (Depending on skills and experience)Type: Full Time, PermanentEssential Criteria:

• Must hold solid occupational experience as a Wood Machinist.
• Ideally have experience of CNC router operation and programming, though this is not essential.
• Confident and comfortable to deliver theory and practical based sessions to learners.
• Must be IT Literate.
• Experience of delivering on-the-job training to colleagues is highly desirable.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel, and overnight stays as required.

Duties include:

• Deliver training sessions to learners working towards Wood Machinery courses, in either their workplace or at our clients training academy.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills, knowledge and behaviours
• Maintain student records, and evidence of performance.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
