DescriptionDun Laoghaire Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic was established in 2008 and promises specific, individualised treatment for every patient and condition. We pride ourselves on being accessible to patients, to provide them with the time and education needed to understand their dysfunction, facilitate their rehabilitation, and to prevent future injury.
As a clinic, and as individual therapists, we are held in great regard in the local community and further afield, with patients travelling from within Dublin county, Wicklow, Wexford, Kildare and further for their care with us.
We are a small team of 5 Physiotherapists, and a full-time secretary.

Job descriptionPermanent position available for a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in Women's Health at Dun Laoghaire Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic. The Fulltime post is 5 days (Mon-Fri) with a combination of mornings/early afternoons, and afternoons/early evening shifts. A part-time post may also be possible for the appropriate candidate so please apply if interested in fewer hours.
We are busy Physiotherapy clinic set in the Dun Laoghaire area. Seeking a Women's Health Physiotherapist to join the clinic. We provide specialist pelvic health care for those in pregnancy, postpartum, or experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction. Our caseload is Women's Health diverse receiving referrals from GPs and obstetric and gynaecology consultants in the region, as well as taking self referrals.
We also provide a number of Pilates based rehabilitation classes.
On-going clinical support, two weekly in-house CPD, and external education is supported.
Skills Required- Excellent communication skills are essential, and a drive and commitment to self-improve needs to be apparent.
- Women's Health experience essential including experience with vaginal and ano-rectal examinations.
- Musculoskeletal experience also required.
- Dry needling/Acupuncture, and Pilates experience a bonus.
The candidate will have access to Real Time Ultrasound (RTUS) and the MAPLe pelvic floor diagnostic and management tool; In-house training will be provided, no prior experience of these modalities required.

RemunerationThis is an Employed position and as per Revenue expectations, the candidate will be provided with tax at source, with paid holiday entitlements.
