As a Team Leader - Panel Wiring, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of wirepersons and ensuring the successful delivery of electrical control panel assembly projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and coordinating a team of panel wirepersons to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Providing hands-on support with wiring, mechanical assembly, and component fitting within electrical control cabinets and systems.
- Interpreting and working from circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and promoting lean manufacturing practices.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards at all times.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in electrical panel wiring and assembly, ideally in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent understanding of technical drawings, wiring schematics, and control panel systems.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with 5S/Lean manufacturing principles and a focus on achieving KPIs.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
