Overview 
Wilmere Lane Nursery School, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 5UR. Full time nursery manager role. Salary starts at £34,320 per annum plus a £1,000 welcome bonus and performance related bonus. Benefits include a 50% childcare discount, wellness day and more.
About the roleAs a Nursery Manager you will be an integral part of the nursery management team, ensuring the setting has the right staff, culture, policies and resources to deliver the highest possible standards of childcare and early years education.
Key responsibilities- Lead and motivate the team, managing staff rotas and recruitment.
- Ensure high standards of childcare under the EYFS framework.
- Identify learning opportunities and create stimulating environments for children and educators.
- Provide training and support to staff and develop learning opportunities.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all children and staff.
- Deputise for the Nursery Manager during absences.
- A true love for child development and care.
- Able and willing to work in a team.
- Effective communication with management, peers and parents.
- High empathy, recognising every opportunity as a learning moment.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- A Level 3 or above Early Years Education qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in a managerial role including nursery administration.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Experience providing staff training and support.
- Demonstrable leadership qualities within Early Years.
- Excellent communication skills with children and adults.
