Description
As a member of the Reinstatement Team, you will work on a variety of tasks across our contracts. Previous experience with tarmac, modular, and rigid surfaces is essential. We seek individuals who take pride in their work and aim for first-time quality to the highest standards.
Your tasks will involve working on public highways, building sites, and private residential land, always prioritizing safety and responsibility. You will work to meet client needs in a cost-effective manner, providing technical expertise and working within a team to deliver excellent service.
You will be able to engineer solutions on-site and focus your team on completing work right the first time. Collaboration with the scheduling team is crucial to ensure programs are managed and delivered effectively. You will support the company's operations through communication with internal and external customers and manage business and client database systems.
Focus on effective site management and ensuring work is completed to standard will be key to your role.
Key Responsibilities- Have previous experience in Utility Reinstatement
- Understand site safety, setup, and welfare considerations for the public and team members
- Utilize Modular+ (smartphone system) and client computer systems to provide feedback for commercial and reinstatement purposes
- Coordinate with Support Services and Street Works Teams to manage FPN and Section 74 liabilities, maintaining a right-first-time approach
- Comply with regulations including NRSWA
- Maintain a customer-focused approach
- Practice good timekeeping and tool/equipment housekeeping
- Understanding and experience in the Utility industry
- NRASWA qualification
- Full, clean driving license with HGV C1 entitlement
- Awareness of health and safety practices
- Computer literacy with basic software skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, physically demanding role
