Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Identify the life history, needs and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families, supporting the development of a detailed life story.
  • Plan and submit to the Home Manager a monthly activity and wellbeing plan, and a weekly overview.
  • Arrange activities, events and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives and visitors.
  • Maintain a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing dementia setting.
  • Experience organising activities and events.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.

  • ADBS Disclosure check - the cost is met by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
