Wellbeing and Activities Assistant - Bank 
Package description: Shift details: 9 am - 5:30 pm. You will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities that engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well being.
Job Responsibilities- Support the Wellbeing Coordinator by providing a range of activities that stimulate residents' physical, cognitive, and social well being.
- Maintain a safe living and working environment, and contribute to the home's positive and professional image.
- Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
- Order and prepare supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
- Establish links with local community groups (e.g., schools, spiritual groups, museums/libraries) to encourage community access and promote intergenerational activity.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of how role interaction contributes to the general well being of people.
- Positive attitude toward older people and commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
- Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing dementia setting.
- DBS Disclosure check, cost paid by Avery Healthcare.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
