WELDER / FABRICATOR - Twycross, Atherstone
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator to join our well-established client based in Twycross, Atherstone on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering an excellent working environment and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a supportive workshop environment.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday• 08:00 - 16:30
Rates of Pay
• £13.00 - £14.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Welder / Fabricator, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Performing high-quality MIG aluminium welding• Reading and accurately interpreting technical drawings• Handling and storing materials safely within the workshop• Carrying out routine maintenance on machinery and tools• Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot production issues• Applying mathematical skills for measurements and production calculations• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures• Supporting general workshop tasks and assisting colleagues when required
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Welder / Fabricator, you will need:
• Proven experience in MIG welding (aluminium preferred)• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications• Experience in materials handling and hand tool use• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Good communication skills• Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
Training Provided
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
