Welcome volunteer (Meet and Greet)

We are looking for a volunteer to help out at the Nugent Pantry on a weekly basis. You will be friendly and approachable, welcoming our Pantry shoppers onto the premises and helping with any initial queries they may have. As a welcome volunteer you will be one of the first people our Pantry shoppers meets with when they arrive and you will help all our shoppers feel welcomed and supported.

Summary of main activities and tasks

Welcome Pantry members at the door Answering queries about the Pantry including instructions for any new members Guiding members through Pantry process Reminding members of Pantry rules and expected behaviours

Qualities / experience / skills

Good communication and customer care skills would be a real asset in this role.
