The RoleWe are recruiting an experienced Shift Manager to lead day-to-day production operations on a designated shift. Reporting to the MCPH Unit Manager, you will ensure production runs efficiently, safely, and in line with all KPIs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver production schedules, productivity, yield, and labour targets
- Lead and develop Supervisors and production teams
- Drive GMP, food safety, quality, H&S, and environmental compliance
- Control labour costs and support cost-saving initiatives
- Minimise downtime and support preventative maintenance
- Promote Lean and continuous improvement practices
- Manage attendance, incidents and employee relations
- Provide performance feedback and employee development
- 3+ years' experience in FMCG / food production
- Experience in Live Food Operations essential
- Degree in Food, Operations, or Management (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of Lean, CI, and H&S standards
