Weekend Receptionist Administrator

We are looking for someone to join our welcoming and friendly team to providereceptionist and administrative support to the day to day running of North WestLeicestershire GP Limited Enhanced Access and Same Day Access Services onSaturdays and Sundays.
The weekend clinics will be based at one of our PCN practices in Coalville and Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
Expected hours are Saturday 09:00-17:00 and Sunday 09:30-14:00. There may be additional hours available on Friday afternoons / evenings.
The rolewill report to the Head of Service Delivery and work alongside lead clinicians,practice managers the wider Federation team.
Main duties of the jobThe role involves providing a friendly and welcoming reception service for patients, accurately checking them in for their appointments, and carrying out essential administrative functions such as managing appointment bookings, cancellations, and amendments on SystmOne, as well as supporting general administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth running of the service.
About usNorthWest Leicestershire GP Limited is a federation of 12 General Practices who workcollaboratively to offer services at scale for our patients. The Federation isresponsible for the running of the North West Leicestershire Primary CareNetwork which offers services to approximately 116,000 patients.
Interviews for this role are likely to take place week commencing 20th April 2026.

Job responsibilitiesMain Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing a friendly, welcoming reception service for patients
Checking in patients attending for appointments
Accurately collecting information from patients
Dealing with all requests in an efficient and courteous manner
Booking, cancelling, or amending appointments on SystmOne
Sending follow up information to registered GP practices
Completing daily audits to document numbers of patients attending
Supporting other colleagues working on site
Supporting with CQC registration activities including preparing for inspection
Escalating any issues to the manager on-call
The post holder will be required to travel to various sites therefore it is essential the individual possess a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

To adhere to all Federation policies and procedures.
Person Specification Other Requirements- Meets DBS reference standards and has a clear criminal record, in line with the law on spent convictions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required to meet work demands.
- Current full driving licence and sole use of car.
- IT Literacy.
- A working knowledge of SystmOne.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexible and proactive approach to work.
- Have a willingness to learn.
- To be able to work independently and use own initiative.
- Experience of working within a similar role.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
- English & Maths at a minimum of a GCSE Pass

£25,772 a year(FTE) Pro-rata at £13.22 per hour for this part-time role
