I'm delighted to be partnering with my client to recruit a Wedding & Events Coordinator for their site in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

Key duties & responsibilities- Manage all wedding and event enquiries, guiding clients through the booking process.
- Conduct client consultations, site inspections, and venue show-arounds with prospective clients.
- Prepare accurate event documentation including proposals, contracts & event schedules.
- Support clients with all aspects of event planning including menus, layouts, décor, seating plans, and timelines.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience through upselling and tailored event packages.
- Coordinate with external suppliers i.e. florists/entertainers/transport etc.
- Monitor deposits, contracts, and final payments.
- Represent the hotel professionally at wedding fairs, trade shows.
- Must have at least 2 years experience coordinating weddings - essential.
- 3rd level qualification in Hospitality Management/Event Management/
- Experience using hotel/event management systems.
- Flexible and adaptable, with availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events.
- Strong customer service focus & organisational skills.
- Commercially minded with a proactive sales approach.
- Strong presentation skills and professional appearance.
