I'm delighted to be partnering with my client to recruit a Wedding & Events Coordinator for their site in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

Key duties & responsibilities
  • Manage all wedding and event enquiries, guiding clients through the booking process.
  • Conduct client consultations, site inspections, and venue show-arounds with prospective clients.
  • Prepare accurate event documentation including proposals, contracts & event schedules.
  • Support clients with all aspects of event planning including menus, layouts, décor, seating plans, and timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience through upselling and tailored event packages.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers i.e. florists/entertainers/transport etc.
  • Monitor deposits, contracts, and final payments.
  • Represent the hotel professionally at wedding fairs, trade shows.
What are we looking for?
  • Must have at least 2 years experience coordinating weddings - essential.
  • 3rd level qualification in Hospitality Management/Event Management/
  • Experience using hotel/event management systems.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events.
  • Strong customer service focus & organisational skills.
  • Commercially minded with a proactive sales approach.
  • Strong presentation skills and professional appearance.
