Job Description
Job Summary

Wealth Management Business Delivery Manager - responsible for supporting senior leaders through operational and administrative oversight, strategic change, and delivery of cross functional initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide operating and administrative support to senior leaders, shaping and executing long term strategic change.
  • Implement Target Operating Model, managing business development, financial and non financial resource allocation, and providing strategic insight.
  • Oversee demand pipeline and book of work, including development and execution of initiatives, projects, research and analysis.
  • Guide operational efficiency, colleague, customer and client experience - identify improvement areas, streamline processes and implement best practices.
  • Manage people plan, talent development and succession planning - identify high potential employees, provide mentorship and support leadership development and diversity initiatives.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, manage communication channels and coordinate across departments.
  • Participate in compliance activities, crisis management, risk mitigation and business continuity planning.
  • Manage technology, real estate, people and communications requirements with partners across the firm.
  • Oversee risk management and compliance, including governance of critical control activities.
  • Control cost and workforce management - conduct financial analysis, forecasting and monitor performance against targets.
  • Lead and develop specialist teams, influence operations, and drive collaborative assignments.
  • Advise key stakeholders on functional and cross functional impact, alignment and strategic decisions.
  • Seek and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders using influencing and negotiating skills.
Qualifications
  • Experience delivering complex multi workstream initiatives, from design to execution.
  • Strong governance skills - establishing forums, creating structure, facilitating decisions, keeping teams aligned.
  • Financial discipline - comfortable with budgets, headcount, investment tracking.
  • In depth knowledge of wealth management or financial services, understanding of client journeys.
  • Excellent communication with senior stakeholders - simplify complex delivery into clear updates.
  • Experience shaping delivery practices in a growing or changing business.
  • Demonstrated leadership behavior: Listen, Energise, Align, and Develop.
  • Ability to assess risk, strengthen controls and manage compliance.
  • Digital and technology acumen relevant to wealth management.

Location: Canary Wharf or Glasgow offices.
