Waterways Operative role based at Doncaster depot (Grey Friars Road, DN1 1NQ) includes outdoor maintenance of canal infrastructure and operation of locks, bridges, and assets. The role operates under annualised hours with 5 days out of 7, including weekends and statutory holidays, and involves joining a 24-hour standby team providing emergency cover.

Based in Doncaster, you will travel across the Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation with occasional support in other areas.
