You will be conducting the testing and analysis of process water systems (including: steam boilers, closed systems and cooling towers). Qualifications

• Proven track record working as a Water Treatment Service Chemist
• Ideally hold training / qualifications, including: Cooling Tower Chemistry, City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing and / or Advanced Water Treatment Chemistry
• Fully conversant in ACOP L8, HSG 274 and HTM 0301 guidelines
• Comfortable providing bespoke technical advice to clients
• Good literacy and numeracy skill level
• Comfortable using IT software

Responsibilities

• Using a test kit on site to conduct testing and analysis on steam boilers, cooling towers and closed systems
• Performing chemical dosing on systems
• Cleanings and chlorinations on cooling towers
• Servicing of CLO2 units, reverse osmosis units and water softeners
• Producing detailed technical service reports
• Meeting with clients to provide advice on findings and recommendations
• Adhering to personal targets and project deadlines
• Fostering strong relationships with clients
• Travelling in line with client requirements
