ROLE: Mobile Water Technician
LOCATION: Newcastle (Mobile)

At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Mobile Water Technician who will deliver water hygiene compliance and maintenance services across the North east of England.

Role Responsibilities

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, and minor plumbing works.
• Carrying out routine monitoring tasks in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8.
• Maintaining customer water logbooks and completing all required documentation in line with company policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Performing water system cleans and disinfections, including chlorinations, in line with ACoP L8 and Mitie procedures.
• Testing, servicing, and maintaining thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), and supporting basic plumbing tasks where required.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment.
• Applicants with limited or no direct experience are welcome, provided they have relevant transferable experience.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.
