Water Sports Instructor

Kimbolton School is seeking a sessional Water Sports Instructor to join the Outdoor Pursuits team. The main responsibilities of this role will be to support the Head of Outdoor Pursuits in the delivery of Water Sports, initially for 4 hours on a Tuesday afternoon, with some additional weekend hours as required.
About the departmentOur Outdoor Pursuits Department offers pupils opportunities to sail and canoe either during Games lessons or after school. Kimbolton School is an RYA Recognised Training Centre and is affiliated to British Canoeing.
Responsibilities- Support the delivery of Water Sports in partnership with the Head of Outdoor Pursuits.
- Lead or assist with purposeful and safe training sessions afloat.
- Promote and encourage pupils to take up and enjoy water sports, and support the ethos of inclusion and participation.
- Work on one's own initiative and establish and maintain working relationships.
- Valid first aid qualifications.
- Paddle UK/British Canoeing Level 1 coach/paddleboard instructor or RYA Dinghy Instructor qualifications.
