Water Hygiene Engineer - Warrington

A well-established water treatment company offers a position as a Water Hygiene Engineer based in the Warrington area. The role provides opportunities for career development and training in industrial water treatment. Successful candidates will be comfortable with extensive travel and must be willing to work across residential, commercial and industrial contracts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong background in chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment
• Previous experience as a water hygiene engineer
• Good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and relevant legislation
• Competent with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication skills

Role

• Cover various contracts, including residential, commercial and industrial properties
• Disinfect mains water systems, perform tank cleans and descales, replace and repair tanks, and conduct remedial work
• Ensure client air and water systems comply with Health & Safety legislation
• Chlorinate and clean hot and cold water systems, as well as cooling towers
• Monitor temperature, conduct routine sampling, and analyze water systems
• Install and maintain dosing systems
• Provide accurate reports and maintain documentation
• Liaise with clients regularly
