Our client is an established water management company offering professional water treatment/hygiene and legionella services to a national client base. They are seeking a reliable, experienced and knowledgeable Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Dorchester area. Applicants from Weymouth, Yeovil, Bridport, Wareham and surrounding areas will be considered.
Experience & Qualifications- Strong educational background in chemistry and technical disciplines, with full familiarity of ACOP L8 guidelines.
- Hands on experience delivering water hygiene duties across a varied site base.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient IT skills, including MS Office.
- Carry out disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales, replace tanks, remedial work, flushing systems and water softeners.
- Monitor client air and water systems to ensure compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.
- Perform cleaning and chlorination of hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
- Conduct temperature monitoring, routine sampling and water sampling analysis.
- Interpret results, maintain and install dosing systems.
- Produce accurate reports and keep up to date paperwork.
- Build and maintain a professional rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Assist with plumbing work as required.
