Hours of work: Monday Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm. (40 hrs/week)

POSITION SUMMARY

• Assisting Oxford County's Water and Wastewater Technical Services staff with the delivery and administration of diverse water and wastewater programs.
• Under the guidance of technical Services staff, assists in the creation and revision of policies, procedures, operations manuals, data summaries, and reports, requiring a high level of attention to detail.
• Reviews CCTV footage of wastewater collection systems and works with the water and Wastewater technologists to perform asset condition assessments.
• Performs water quality analysis on non-regulatory groundwater samples.
• Assists with physical and digital data archiving at the direction of the supervisor.
• Travels throughout the County to water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• G2 or G driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Enrolled in a post secondary program in a related field.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiar with municipal water and/or wastewater systems is considered an asset.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• You are currently enrolled on a full time basis at a post secondary institution and will be returning to a post secondary institution on a full time basis in the fall or winter of 2026.
