Wastewater AMR Bioinformatics Postdoc

Bangor University is inviting applications for a fixed-term Postdoctoral Research Officer in wastewater epidemiology and AMR bioinformatics, based in the School of Environmental & Natural Sciences. The role is embedded in an active wastewater research team led by senior academics.

The post involves mining and integrating large-scale metagenomic datasets to characterise resistomes and mobilomes across Wales and beyond, aiming to generate actionable AMR insights for policy and monitoring.
