Position: Warehouse Team Leader
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Location: HMP Wayland - Thetford (IP25 6RL)
Salary: £26,262.84
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Days
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a prison. You will be required to undergo an Enhanced Security Vetting Process if you are to be successful for this position.
YOU WILL NEED 3 YEARS OF ADDRESS HISTORY IN THE UK.
HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. At DHL, our role is to manage the picking, packing and distribution of these orders. No two days on our HMPPS contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the prisoner's lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.
What Does the Role Entail?- Leading a group of prisoners in a warehouse environment, whilst also being hands on with picking and packing
- Reconciling stock levels within the warehouse operation (based onsite at the prison)
- Managing the delivery of accurate and timely dispatch of orders to the in mates
- Ensuring operational targets are met and exceeded
- The ability to work in a prison warehouse environment
- A good understanding of warehouse processes - desirable
- Good communication skills across all levels
- Current 3 years of UK address history (mandatory for Enhanced Security Clearance)
