Join a well-established freight forwarding company as an experienced Warehouse Supervisor. You'll oversee day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced logistics environment, ensuring efficient freight handling, compliance with safety regulations, and smooth operational performance.

Please note that a 5-year background check will be carried out as part of the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inbound and outbound freight operations, including loading, unloading and vehicle dispatch.
• Support and deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and company standards.
• Oversee warehouse equipment, documentation and accurate stock records.
• Coordinate with internal teams and service providers to maintain efficient operations.
• Verify cargo and documentation for all freight movements.
• Carry out additional warehouse duties as required.

Skills & Experience

• Previous Warehouse Supervisor experience within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Knowledge of import/export freight processes and documentation.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid experience operating forklifts, reach trucks and power pallet trucks.
