Warehouse Operatives

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a friendly and professional team. This is a great opportunity to join a well organised warehouse with excellent long term progression opportunities.

Hours:

• Sunday - 9am - 5pm
• Monday - Thursday - 6am - 2pm

Pay Rate

£12.25 per hour

About the Role

You will be fully trained in all aspects of the warehouse, including:

• Using scanners to pick items from trolleys
• Carefully packing high value goods into presentation boxes with tissue paper
• Building boxes during your first few hours to understand sizing and products
• There may also be occasional opportunities for ad hoc loading and unloading work

The Environment

• Clean, modern and well maintained warehouse
• Not cold, but not overly warm (layers recommended in winter)
• Can get warm during summer months
• Friendly and diverse team (various nationalities including Lithuanian, Polish and English colleagues)

What We're Looking For

Warehouse experience is not essential, but candidates must have:

• Common sense
• Good attention to detail (especially when handling high value goods)
• Care and accuracy
• Good communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Good numeracy skills
• Polite, courteous, and well mannered attitude
• The right mindset and willingness to learn

Career Progression
