Working within a fast-paced warehouse environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
Shift Pattern
- Backshift role
- Start times between 4:00pm and 7:00pm
- 8-hour shifts
- 5 shifts over 7 days
- Weekend working required on a rotational basis
- Shift patterns and rotas will be provided in advance to support work-life balance and allow for forward planning
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Counterbalance FLT equipment safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading vehicles and trailers.
- Moving palletised stock throughout the warehouse and storage areas.
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory duties as required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Supporting colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
- Previous Counterbalance FLT experience within a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
- Flexible approach to shift patterns and weekend working.
