Warehouse Operative / Admin -Wanted - Immediate Start!

Cambridge Based £12.92 per hour

On-going basis

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative or Admin?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for warehouse operator, on behalf of an industry-leading distributor / logistics company with the opportunity for on-going assessment.

Qualifications Essential
  • Previousexperience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to carry out manual handling and physically demanding tasks
  • Good attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic
  • Being comfortable with resolving clients' enquiries
  • Computer / tablet literate
  • Ability to always follow health and safety procedures
  • Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and completing paperwork
Desirable
  • Fast-paced warehouse or Admin experience
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate manual handling techniques
  • Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and reporting any damages or discrepancies
  • Sorting, organising, and storing stock in the correct warehouse locations
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, pump trucks, and (where trained) forklifts
  • Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling, wrapping, and securing pallets
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment always
  • Assisting with regular stock takes and inventory checks
  • Following health and safety procedures and complying with warehouse regulations
  • Meeting daily productivity targets and working effectively as part of a team
  • Supporting general warehouse duties as required by supervisors or management
  • Resolving clients' enquiries through phone call conversations
  • Updating warehouse system
  • Computer and tablet usage
