We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse team based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large logistics and distribution environment, supporting the receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of goods to customers across the Health & Social Care sector.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving, checking and storing stock deliveries.
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
- Using warehouse equipment and mechanical aids.
- Carrying out stock replenishment and stock checking duties.
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and health & safety standards.
- Assisting with the efficient movement and distribution of stock throughout the warehouse.
Essential Criteria - Minimum of 3 GCSEs (including English and Maths) or
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) plus 1 year's relevant experience or
- At least 2 years' experience in a stores or warehouse environment within the last 5 years.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- Forklift licence.
- Experience using warehouse equipment and mechanical aids.
- IT or keyboard skills.
- Customer service awareness.
- Previous experience working in a busy warehouse or distribution environment.
The successful candidate will be hardworking, dependable and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, and candidates with a valid forklift licence are particularly encouraged to apply.
