Warehouse Operations manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee dual-site warehouse operation. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering efficient operations, excellent customer service, and strong team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations across two nearby sites
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse operatives and technicians
• Ensure accurate stock control, inventory management, and use of WMS systems
• Oversee Goods In/Out processes, storage, and compliance procedures
• Monitor KPIs, drive performance, and implement continuous improvements
• Maintain health & safety standards, audits, and site security
• Support budgeting and P&L, identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and customers
• Manage staffing, including recruitment, training, and performance reviews

Key Requirements:

• 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse leadership role
• Strong people management and customer-facing skills
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and H&S regulations
• Commercial awareness with experience supporting cost control initiatives
• Good IT skills (Excel essential; Oracle desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
