Warehouse Manager

Overview

Position: Warehouse Manager. Type: Permanent. Location: Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire. Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum. Hours: 8:45am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. My client is an equipment importer and distributor with an established presence and strong proven history in their sector across the UK. They are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team to assist in overseeing operations at their fulfilment centre in Warwickshire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, logistics, and customer service.
• Conduct stock checks and maintain accurate records through ERP transactions.
• Manual handling and unloading of containers from overseas suppliers.
• Supervising a small warehouse team.
• Fork lift truck driving.
• Checking invoices for inbound/outbound loads and reporting discrepancies.

Requirements

• Strong supervisory experience within warehousing.
• Proficient in the use of computers and standard office software.
• Proficiency in warehouse procedures and policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide feedback.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential and Bendi licence would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Must have a hands-on approach and be willing to work with the team.
