Job Description

AWC Water Solutions Ltd. specializes in providing integrated water and wastewater treatment plants along with a wide range of specialized industrial packaged solutions. We offer clients advanced in-house engineering and design, 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, an in-house control panel shop, and a full suite of field services-allowing us to deliver complete turn key solutions.

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support our operations and fabrication teams, bringing professionalism and a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork in the work we do. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in forklift operation, inventory management, and assisting with shipping/receiving, along with the ability to accurately pick and organize parts, perform general warehouse duties, and act as a parts runner. A valid BC driver's license, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a clean, safe, and well organized work environment are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Safe operation of forklifts for moving, loading, and unloading materials.
  • Acting as a Parts Runner, requiring a valid BC driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Accurately sorting and picking parts according to work orders.
  • Organizing the warehouse to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
  • Assisting with shipping and receiving duties, including prep work and documentation.
  • General facility clean up and maintenance as required.

  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs consistently
  • Good communication with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Work hours

Full time: Monday Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

HSE / Quality Responsibilities and Duties
  • Immediately report any accident/incident and collaborate in its investigation.
  • Interrupt work when conditions are unsafe and report them to upper management.
  • Maintain orderly and clean work areas to prevent hazards.
  • Require, use, and maintain in good condition all safety equipment, work tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or industrial environment preferred.
  • Valid BC Driver's License (Mandatory).
