We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse & Stores Manager to lead operations at our Ballyhaunis facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong people manager with warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience to join a well-established and growing Irish engineering company.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the stores operation, ensuring high standards across stock management, customer service, team leadership, logistics coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the warehouse and stores facility
  • Lead, support, and develop the stores team
  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management systems
  • Ensure optimum stock levels are maintained to meet customer and operational requirements
  • Coordinate goods inward, picking, packing, and outbound deliveries
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate competitive commercial terms
  • Liaise with freight and logistics providers on a daily basis
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean process initiatives
  • Ensure high standards of health, safety, housekeeping, and compliance
  • Support ISO audits and maintain operational documentation
  • Deliver excellent customer service for both internal and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience managing a warehouse, stores, or logistics operation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience with stock control systems and ERP software
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Good understanding of health & safety best practices
  • Experience within industrial, engineering, or technical environments
  • Knowledge of Lean business processes
  • Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP systems
