Job Description
Woodland Group is recruiting a Warehouse Administrator for the iPort in Doncaster. The Warehouse Administrator will oversee the administrative aspects of our warehouse operations.
Monday to Friday 9am 5pm.
Responsibilities- Driver Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, addressing inquiries and providing clear instructions to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage bookings for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper scheduling and communication with all relevant parties.
- Answer office phone calls and direct them to the correct departments.
- Documentation and Paperwork
- Print, organise and file all necessary paperwork.
- Maintain and update records to support efficient warehouse processes and accurate inventory tracking.
- Bay Assignments
- Assign bays to drivers according to the operational schedule to minimise delays.
- Delivery Note Accuracy
- Verify and issue accurate delivery notes to drivers, including all relevant information.
- Document Control
- Manage and control all warehouse related documents, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Identify and report non conformances, raising NCRs as required.
- Reporting to Stock & Planning Manager
- Provide regular updates and reports highlighting key metrics, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaboration with Warehouse Team
- Work closely with Warehouse Supervisors and Forklift Drivers to ensure smooth operations and open communication.
- Participate in team meetings to suggest ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Prior experience in warehouse administration or a related field.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
- Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Strong problem solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
