Warehouse / Yard Person

Our client is a highly respected, successful, and growing home improvement / supplies company based in Carrickmore. Due to ongoing expansion, they now wish to recruit an experienced Warehouse / Yard Person. You will ensure the effective flow of goods into, through and out of the warehouse to the point of delivery.

THE ROLE

• Ensure that stock systems are monitored and maintained Loading/unloading of deliveries both in and out Provide paperwork and full load details to the delivery driver Take responsibility for all quality and delivery issues to ensure that all goods in / out are correct and not damaged Ensure the efficient and accurate inspection of materials, products, to detect defects to eliminate customer returns; Ensure that exceptional levels of housekeeping are enforced within all areas of the warehouse in line with Company standards; Ensure that all day to day health, safety and security procedures are adhered to

THE PERSON

• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
• Ideally experience within the tiling/bathroom sector
• Job involves manual handling so must be prepared to do this
• Good with paperwork and processing dockets etc
• Forklift Licence would be advantage
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
