Waiting List Officer-Maternity

We are recruiting for a Waiting List Officer- Maternity who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The post holder will provide efficient administrative support, including Admission and Pre-assessment appointments and maintenance of waiting lists. To take responsibility (as part of a team) for the service provided to our service users and all levels of staff.

Main duties of the job

To identify patients on Lorenzo.

To book patients for the surgical procedure and appropriate Pre-operative Assessment appointments ensuring accurate and current details concerning patients are correct.

Liaise with Patients, and Consultants and ensure correct details and amendments are added to the Patient Administration System (PAS).

To help the Matron for CLU with the dating of patients.

Ensure that patients are notified of their admission date with adequate notice and add all details to EPR appointments section.

Assist with any queries from the patient in a polite and courteous manner.
