Role

TheVP/ Head of Performance Marketing will play a key role in shaping and executing the company's marketing strategy. This role will oversee all of Direct and paid marketing efforts, from Meta, Google, Tiktok and across across new and established channels. This is a budget ownership role that optimises for marketing cost and credit profile.

You'll step into a collaborative team and own the paid marketing budget, applying your deep experience to supercharge growth results. You should thrive on data and enjoy translating insights into action.

This role works cross-functionally with creatives, brand marketers, growth and data engineers to deliver exceptional results.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Performance Marketing professional with a strong background in consumer, financial services and ideally lending fintechs that has managed and scaled paid media to £5m+ budgets with ROAS or CAC accountability.

Responsibilities
  • Set channel mix, CAC/ROAS guard-rails and quarterly media allocations across Meta, Google, TikTok, Affiliate, Display & emerging channels. Present growth scenarios to exec team; own forecast vs. actuals.
  • Optimise the server-side tracking and partner with Data Engineering team to build automated budget allocation engine and dashboards.
  • Direct and own hands-on strategy for Advantage+ Shopping, Performance Max, broad-match Search, Programmatic Display & UAC campaigns.
  • Codify playbooks for bid-strategy experiments, budget scaling rules and creative testing
  • Partner with Design team to produce high-velocity UGC, statics and vertical video.
  • Partner with growth team for conversion rate optimisation
  • Ensure compliance & governance to FCA rule frameworks, manage consent frameworks, and maintain change-control on media budgets and tagging.

We do not believe in silos and departments that are typically found in banks and other lenders. As part of the team you will work across multiple disciplines to drive high impact and great customer outcomes.

The perfect addition to our team will have:

  • An independent and self-driven approach;
  • 7+ yrs scaling paid media to £5m+ budgets with ROAS or CAC accountability
  • Expert in Meta Advantage+, Google Performance Max & Search Ads 360
  • Proven track record building server-side attribution stacks & LTV bidding loops
  • a passion for data and analytics, being able to hack around in python/SQL and build models
  • Analytical storyteller comfortable in board meetings
  • Experience in credit/fintech, lending, or regulated B2C sectors
  • Scaleup experience a big plus
