Volunteer Gardener & Youth Mentor in Community Garden

A local community organization in Canterbury is seeking a volunteer gardener passionate about engaging with youth and sharing gardening knowledge. This 8-week program focuses on developing life skills through gardening activities with young people who have intellectual disabilities. Volunteers will encourage participation and provide support while teaching practical gardening skills in a community-focused environment. The program meets on Tuesdays from 9am to 3:30pm, and while commitment for the full term is preferred, flexibility can be discussed.
