Volunteer Finance Director - Lead Financial Strategy for Tennis

Volunteer Finance Director - Tennis Leicestershire Board

We're looking for a committed volunteer to join our board and help drive tennis forward. We support an inclusive tennis and padel community in Leicestershire, developing facilities and people by supporting clubs, players and coaches to increase participation across both sports.

Responsibilities

• Attend board meetings 6 times a year.
• Establish and manage all financial processes.
• Establish and maintain budgets and regularly review them.
• Maintain detailed records of income and expenditure.
• Ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner.
• Prepare regular financial statements and accounting reports for the AGM and, when required, for external review. Reviews may be an audit, assurance review, or review by an independent person.

Qualifications

• Recognised financial qualifications and skills.
• Good understanding of the county's core role and associated resourcing requirements.
• Effective organisational, communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of tennis and tennis club management, and of LTA direction and activities.
• Ability to work in a team and motivate others.
