Volunteer Driver

Detailed Description

Provide safe, friendly transport for people who need help getting to essential appointments and activities. Use your own car; mileage is reimbursed.

• Transport clients to agreed destinations.
• Help clients feel safe, respected, and supported.

Key Tasks:

• Drive clients to/from destinations using your own roadworthy car.
• Use the CATSS Driver Portal (Lynx) to confirm trips and keep mileage up to date.
• Communicate clearly with the transport team, follow trip briefings.
• Keep accurate records for mileage reimbursement.
• Follow safeguarding and confidentiality guidelines.

Skills & Qualities Needed:

• Full, clean driving licence; insured, roadworthy vehicle.
• Reliable, punctual; friendly and respectful communicator.
• Able to use the CATSS Driver Portal (training provided).
