We are seeking a volunteer to support the team at Burleigh Court, a drug and alcohol service. The role provides insight into the running of the service and is suitable for someone with previous experience in a similar role.
The service is open Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm and we are seeking a volunteer up to 15 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Provide effective reception support, including managing and directing incoming calls, taking and directing messages, managing deliveries, greeting visitors, directing people to meetings, ensuring people sign in and out.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post.
- Replenish displays, leaflets and resources.
- Assist with the administration and resources for group activities, training, etc.
- Create resources for people accessing the service.
- Take referrals into the service.
- Promote the service.
- Discounts from various schemes.
- Training and personal development.
