Are you a dedicated Voice & Data Networks Analyst looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation? At Tarmac, we are on the lookout for a Voice & Data Networks Analyst to join our team.

About the Role

Reporting into the Business Infrastructure Manager, the successful Voice & Data Networks Analyst will be ensuring the delivery of consistent, appropriate, secure, cost-effective, compliant and high-quality voice and data services to Tarmac.

Please note this is a part-time position working 15 hours a week on Mondays and Tuesdays.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you as the successful Voice & Data Networks Analyst will be carrying out the following duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive).

  • Working as a Subject Matter Expert (with Voice & Dataknowledge) on business projects in line with business strategy
  • Grasping user requirements and solution options
  • Building solutions that comply right first time by design
  • Providing second-line support to IT users in line with agreed SLAs
  • Investigating incidents and identifying and mobilising resources required to aid resolution
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in the Change Management process
  • Supporting the incident root cause analysis process and continuous process improvement
What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Educated to degree standard or able to demonstrate appropriate significant and relevant experience in a similar role
  • IT technical knowledge/experience of one or more of the following core disciplines: e.g. Cisco, Meraki, Avaya, MPLS, SD-WAN, SIP
