Role description
Perfect role for someone who's obsessed with the perfect social edit and wants to learn how to elevate other editors to their level. You'll be optimising processes (eg how to localise per country efficiently) + bringing structure that allows to scale but above all elevating the quality of the edits (improving pacing / transitions / VFX / shot selection / etc.) every single day.
You'll probably start off 75% editing yourself and slowly transition to 25% editing and 75% steering / overseeing the editing team (now 3 editors) and processes.
You'l be working closely with our in-house Creative Team consisting of Video-Editors, Creative Strategists and a Producer.
We're looking for someone who REALLY understands how to get people to stop scrolling on social (or is trying hard to do so), gets very excited by that - and thinks social-first.
We do not care at all for portfolios focused on large-scale productions / TVC / bigco / culture / film / art, as we have not seen that translate into being successful at editing for social. It's just a different game.
We're open to junior, medior, or early senior.
About you
- You're a top-level editor and are passionate about it
- You really understand how to edit for social/YouTube (beyond resizing TV commercial into a 1920x1080 format)
- You're open to teach and manage other editors + elevate our workflows/processes
Practical details & requirement (all are non-negotiable)
- Full-time position 40h/week;
- Fully on-site role located in Amsterdam-Central;
- You can work remotely in another country four calendar weeks per year;
- We offer a competitive salary, 25 holiday days, a standard pension scheme, office lunches, Friday drinks, and plenty of opportunities to grow within a fast-growing, international company.
