As "Vice President Supply Chain & Production Management Green Energy Control (f/m/div) " you ensure that Infineon's manufacturing strategy meets the Business Line needs for technologies, production volume, quality, cost, and flexibility. You will collaborate closely with Operations to resolve differences between the Business Line requirements and the operational capabilities. Therefore, you perform supply chain functions, for example such as volume planning or inventory management and you will be driving Cost of Goods sold improvements through e.g. Yield or product test improvements. Additionally, you work closely with the Business Line GIP Green Energy Control and ensure global collaboration of your team internally and externally.
In your new role you will:
- Be an engaged people leader and develop a strong, passionate, diverse and international distributed team
- Adapt and execute functional and departmental business plans of the Business Line and contribute to the development and profitability of the GIP Green Energy Control strategy
- Define Operations & Manufacturing strategies for the Business Line and drive alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization
- Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks related to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis
- Identify and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the Supply Chain and Production Management
- Prepare and maintain volume and demand planning analyses as well as supply and production schedules based on internal and external information to establish and effectively manage an order backlog
- Create integrated processes among internal functions and partner with stakeholders such as Operations, Purchasing and Logistics, and external suppliers
As "Vice President Supply Chain & Production Management Green Energy Control" (f/m/div) you translate the strategy into ambitious goals and make sure that it becomes a binding guideline for people's actions. You recognize and seize potential for improving efficiency with dedication. In addition, you are aware of the strengths, needs for development, and motivational drivers of your people and deploy them according to their competences within your team.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Achieved a university degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar
- At least 10+ years' work experience of increasing responsibility within Operations in the semiconductor industry or similar, including leadership responsibility, and international working experience as a plus
- Know How in operational efficiency initiatives
- Foresighted management of external & internal factors, e.g. market development, customer needs, demand changes
- Strong and pragmatic leadership skills used to motivate and empower teams in a challenging environment
- Ability to collaborate closely with cross functional teams and stakeholders
- Business fluent English. German skills are considered as a plus
