Join us and be part of something extraordinary.Pershing EMEA is seeking a Vice President, to support the oversight and ongoing enhancement of the Client Asset Safety framework across the region. The role holder will contribute to the protection of client money and custody assets by helping ensure that relevant risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and governed appropriately in line with regulatory requirements and internal control standards.Working closely with business, operations, compliance, legal, finance, and technology stakeholders, the individual will support a strong control environment and promote effective governance over client asset-related processes and obligations. This role requires a strong understanding of risk management principles, client asset regulation, and the operational frameworks that underpin asset protection. This role is in Manchester.Responsibilities Support the execution and continued enhancement of the Client Asset Safety framework for Pershing EMEA. Oversee and challenge the effectiveness of controls designed to safeguard client money and custody assets. Identify, assess, monitor, and escalate risks associated with client asset protection and related operational processes. Perform risk and control reviews, including assessment of control design and operating effectiveness. Track, monitor, and support remediation of issues, incidents, audit findings, and regulatory actions relevant to client asset safety. Contribute to governance reporting and prepare materials for senior management, risk committees, and other relevant forums. Support interpretation and implementation of regulatory developments impacting client asset safety in EMEA. Partners with first-line teams and control functions to strengthen oversight, improve transparency, and drive timely issue resolution. Support internal and external reviews, including regulatory engagements and audit activity, through provision of analysis, documentation, and evidence. Use data, trend analysis, and risk insights to identify emerging themes and opportunities for control enhancement. Promote a strong risk culture through constructive challenge, collaboration, and clear communication.Requirements Significant experience in risk management, audit, compliance, controls, or operational oversight within financial services. Knowledge of FCA CASS, custody, clearing, broker-dealer, or asset servicing environments. Experience working in a regulated environment with exposure to EMEA regulatory obligations relevant to client asset safety. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across stakeholder groups.
