A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a proudly independent, RCVS accredited small animal practice in the beautiful town of Chepstow. This well regarded practice is known for its supportive culture, high clinical standards, and commitment to patient care and team wellbeing. The successful candidate will enjoy working with another experienced Veterinary Surgeon in a calm, collaborative environment with no sole charge.
Responsibilities- This role is primarily consult focused, offering the chance to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional continuity of care, with occasional involvement in inpatient wards depending on clinical needs.
- Based at the main branch of a two site practice, with consultations and the majority of surgical procedures taking place there, while hospitalised patients are cared for on-site in thoughtfully designed, separate cat, dog, and small furry wards to minimise stress and maximise comfort.
- Work within a friendly, experienced team across a well run two site practice, delivering high quality care with separate cat, dog and small furry wards designed for low stress patient handling.
- Join a proudly independent, RCVS accredited small animal practice where you'll never work sole charge, enjoy a supportive clinical environment.
- Modern, comprehensive facilities to support high quality, well rounded veterinary care, including an on-site laboratory for rapid diagnostics, digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and dental equipment.
- Additional services such as hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and acupuncture.

Rota- Full time position
- 4 day week
- 1:4 Saturdays
