Veterinary Surgeon Cannock, Staffordshire First Opinion Practice

Permanent Part-Time or Full-Time

Salary up to £65,000 DOE (FTE) Up to 40 Hours per Week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and progressive small animal first opinion practice in Cannock, Staffordshire.

This modern and well equipped practice is home to a passionate and supportive team of vets, RVNs, PCAs, receptionists and management staff who work collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care. The practice prides itself on creating a welcoming environment where team members are encouraged to develop clinically while enjoying a strong work life balance.

The successful candidate will join a growing clinical team and will have access to excellent facilities and equipment, including:

  • Brand new laparoscopy equipment
  • State of the art orthopaedic kit
  • Endoscopy facilities
  • Digital X ray
  • Ultrasound with abdominal and cardiac probes
  • Tonovet equipment
  • Extensive in house diagnostics including endocrine and coagulation testing

The practice currently consists of 3 vets, 5 RVNs, a PCA, 3 receptionists and a dedicated practice manager, creating a close knit and highly supportive working environment.

The Role

This opportunity would suit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with around 2-3 years' experience who is confident managing a varied caseload and enjoys both medical and surgical work.

The position offers clinical freedom and encourages vets to take ownership of cases while working within a supportive team culture where collaboration and continuous improvement are valued.
