Job Description

Medivet Dearne Valley 24-Hour is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with an interest and experience in either; internal medicine, cardiology, diagnostic imaging or neurology. An ECC certificate in any of those fields would be beneficial but is not essential.

Our Dearne Valley 24-Hour Hospital is supported by our Branch Partner - Magda and Practice Manager - Michelle. It's a purpose-built facility with up-to-date digital x-ray, ultrasound and full body CT scanner and an in-house laboratory. The practice has 3 large consulting rooms, 2 theatres, large prep area, internal lab facilities and large learning and office spaces.

We are offering full time working pattern of 40 hours over 4 days per week and a 1 in 6 full weekend rota, however we are open to discussing part time hours for the right person.

We offer a relocation package if relocating from outside the UK or more than 60 miles from your current UK address.

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance
